Where Have I Been Hiding?

Well, literally, I have been in wallpaper. If you have EVER hung wallpaper, you will know what I mean. :) My husband, finally, moved into his office!! YAY!!! So, for the last few weeks I have been hauling boxes, unpacking boxes, moving furniture, hanging artwork, running to IKEA (was it six or seven trips?)/Home Depot/K-Mart/Staples... and hanging wallpaper.

Although I am thankful to have my basement back and to have some semblance of a schedule again,... I kinda miss eating dinner, on time, all together. And I kinda miss having him available for lunch most days. And maybe a little part of me misses him at home most of the day, even though some days I would complain about him cramping my style or getting in my way. :)

But FINALLY the day came that the office was ready to welcome the enormous mountain of boxes in the basement containing his files, folders and books. And then the day came for him to work at the office, like for real, and see clients and all of that jazz. Then came the day that I had to go to work and all that jazz. ;)

So, while I have been packing and unpacking, and gluing myself to sheet rock in a terrible wallpapering incident, I have also been mourning the loss of my basement buddy.
